Our annual “Patient Purpose Day” plays a key role in this effort, bringing attention to healthcare inequality while encouraging collective action to improve patient outcomes. Held every September across our markets, in conjunction with World Patient Safety Day, the initiative brings together a range of on-site activities aligned with each year’s theme. In 2024, the focus was on elder care, while in 2025, the theme explored women’s health equity.
The day is designed to engage employees and facilitate their pledge toward better patient outcomes. Across markets, these activities take different forms, empowering employees to be patient advocates and lead by example in championing greater patient well-being.
